Our products satisfy requirements for documentation of products for construction works (DOK) and technical regulations (TEK), in addition to the Norwegian and European standard for water mist, NS-EN 14972-1.
The systems have been tested according to test procedures specified in current international fire test protocols for the application to be protected, so that effectiveness is documented.
In addition to fire tests, all critical components such as nozzles, valves, pipes and water supply parts are tested according to international standards. These are carried out to ensure that all components included in the water mist system have the quality required to document a reliable automatic suppression system.
The systems consist of three main components:

Water mist nozzles that atomize the water and spread it in the area where a fire has started.

Pump set to increase water pressure at the water intake in the building.

Pipes and fittings that branch through the building to carry water to the water mist nozzles.

Nozzles
Prevent Systems nozzles are available as both pendent and upright ceiling nozzles, and a sidewall model. The nozzles are approved for residential use, as well as for commercial use classified by sprinklers as Ordinary Hazard Class OH-1, OH-2 and OH-3.

Pump set
We have developed our pump sets in collaboration with Grundfos, who manufacture and supply complete pump sets according to current standards.
Pictured is a CM set for Residential, while a CR set is available for Commercial applications. A control cabinet (not pictured) is included.

Mobile personal protection system
UltraGuard is a mobile personal protection system for vulnerable people with limited means of escape in the event of a fire. It has proven to be highly effective and has saved many lives in Norway and the UK. It was developed in collaboration with fire consultants, the UK Fire Service and the UK Local Health Authority, and is fire tested and certified by the LPCB. Prevent Systems supplies the water mist nozzle for UltraGuard and is the supplier to the Nordic market.
